Professional Earplugs

Generic earplugs work fine for some people, but they don’t offer the level of protection many workers and hobbyists require for ultimate protection.

 

While high-grade earplugs are useful in some scenarios, there are also many specialty types of plugs that are designed for certain activities. Some examples of this include hunter’s plugs, which allow in environmental sounds while automatically blocking the loud frequency sound waves that come from a gunshot; swimmer’s plugs, which offer top-notch waterproof protection to prevent infection; and musician’s monitors, which stream sound from electric instruments directly into musicians’ ears at a safe volume.

Custom Earmolds

At Indiana Ear, we can create custom earmolds that are personalized just for your ears using impressions taken of your ear canals and outer ears.

 

These are sent to an outside lab, where molds are created. They are then used to make custom devices for a number of activities and professions. Some examples include:
